Aug. 14th, 2010 08:22 pmCarrying a sleeping Bronwyn up the stairs to bed, Gwen smiled as she placed her into bed with Valmai. Val tightened her deathgrip on the bedsheets as Bronwyn curled up next to her. Stroking her hair back from her face, Gwen smiled at her youngest sister and leaned over to kiss Val. She would miss them when she left, she always did but she knew that they would be proud and love her no matter what she decided to do. Blowing out the candle beside them, Gwen closed the door behind her before walking down the hall towards her bedroom.
"They're asleep, I don't know where Val heard that story. I swear Bronwyn is going to have nightmares for weeks." Gwen said, pulling off her dressing gown and hanging it behind the door. Grinning at Huafeng, Gwen ran across the bedroom floor with her bare feet before leaping onto the bed. Crawling up to the top of the bed, Gwen laughed and wriggled beneath the sheets. "Actually nevermind Bron, I'll have nightmares for weeks."
Gwen smiled and looked at Huafeng. She honestly didn't know what she would have done without her friend here. Things had been a lot easier, a lot more pleasant with a friend around and her parents had even been mostly on their best behaviour. Gwen hadn't felt like running once.
"How are you feeling after last night? Merlin, I'm never drinking anything ever again." Gwen asked, twisting her hair between her fingers.
